Where should I live?
I'm 23 years old, single, no kids, and I'm thinking of moving back to RD after I'm done with school here in California. I speak Spanish fluently but after growing up in New York, joining the US Marine Corps, and not having very much contact with my family I've lost a lot of the common slang so that'd really be my only problem. I make a passive income of 4k USD a month so I'm very fortunate enough that I think I'll be able to live anywhere in RD pretty comfortably without having to worry about finding a job immediately.
Basically what I'm trying to find is where I can live where I won't feel like too much of an outsider in my own home country as I reintegrate into the norms. I have a lot of expensive belongings to include a Ducati (which I plan on only using at the track and never on the street over there) and I know not to be flashy with them. I need somewhere where crime isn't as high even if it costs more so I can sleep a lil more soundly at night.
Any tips in general are also highly appreciated!
