My GPD Pocket 4 +Samsung glossy antireflective screen protector (imperfect) hack
For anyone as bothered by the reflectivity of the GPD Pocket 4 display as me. I took an official Samsung S10+ FE antireflective screen protector, cut it in half with a paper cutter (board with sliding blade thing) and stuck it on. The smaller dimension of the screen protector is the exact width of the GPD P4 active display area.
Posted image was my third attempt and the best I could do..There appears to be an almost imperceptible (to touch) lip where the display ends at the bottom. The screen protectors fails to fully adhere at this location and so annoyingly a perfect application cannot be achieved despite my best efforts. Makes me want to take it off at times..but the reflectivity is quite high.
It still makes a massive difference as you can see vs the borders. Wish they did this stock (sold or preapplied a screen protector like samsungs that has this antireflective coating or a matte display..)
