I’m considering running for president of a society at BCP College and wanted to know if it’s actually worth the time and effort.

Does it help with university applications, leadership skills, networking, or personal growth? Or does it mostly become extra responsibility with little benefit?

I’d especially appreciate advice from Beaconhouse A Level graduates or anyone who has experience in societies/leadership roles. Please share your honest experiences and any advice you have.
