Turns out they were Snuhooing and now they’re on opposite sides of the tank like they’re ashamed of their actions 😂😂 this is my first time actually seeing it (not including my previous posts with *not so* Lucky, the other snail) and NGL. This looks brutal 😩😩 now I’m on egg watch until further notice
I’m very new to snails (about 2 months) it started with me watching my cousins snails for her while she’s away and then I had a scare and thought one of them died so I purchased 2 to replace that one but they actually weren’t dead. That’s the one in the videos who I think is either trying to mate or being aggressive. The other snail is one of the new ones I purchased I noticed last night for the first time that they were doing what I thought was trying to mate but the other snail doesn’t really look interested and then they tried again tonight and again, the other snail doesn’t look interested. Should I separate them? I purchased an even bigger tank for all 4 of them and it’s arriving tomorrow but should I keep the 2 new ones in a different tank than the 2 my cousin has? Or is this normal and I’m just paranoid? The first clip in the video was from last night. The other 2 clips are from tonight. I wish I knew how to speed it up but I also didn’t know it wouldn’t post as separate videos.
Hey! I’m new to the snail world. I’ve been watching my cousins snails (she has 2) for about a month (I dont know much about them) and when one of them “played dead” 2 weeks ago, I of course replaced them by buying 2 more and now I love them. I’m in the process of upgrading their habitat with a new tank and I see that clover is very good but idk where to get any from. Online it says make sure it’s free from pesticides and harmful chemicals but idk how to ensure that when buying. Does anyone have any reputable links where I can order. Snail tax below.
