So I recently started watching LHOTP again (used to watch when I was younger in the late 90's and early 2000's) and just had this random thought pop in my head. If we were to relate everyone's mode of transportation (ie wagons) to modern day vehicles, am I alone in thinking the Ingalls's wagon is equivalent to a farm truck? And when we see Ms. Beadle in her buggy (and same with Doc and Rev Alden) its like a sedan and/or coupe? Am I alone in thinking these things and if so, I will see myself out lol.

I honestly liked how they did this show! If we were to stay true to the books (and themselves are historical autobiographical fiction) and Laura's life, I think that it wouldn't have made a great series. I kinda low key liked how they kinda fleshed out side characters (and created new ones!). I can't wait to see what happens in Walnut Grove and how they tackle harder things like Mary going blind, the birth and death of little Freddie, and the grasshoppers. And this is coming from someone who watched the OG series as reruns in the mid-late 90's and read Laura's biographies around that same time frame.
