Same difference

Since a lot of Sinhalese don’t like to admit how similar their country is to the terror state of Isnotreal…

Good old Sumanarathana Ampitiye, who was also seen taking pictures with the current president Dissanayake. The Israeli playbook is still going strong.

The humiliation, rape and murder of Tiger journalist Isaipriya by SL forces

One of the most vile crimes committed by SL forces from the final days of the Sri Lankan civil war.

A journalist and presenter for the Liberation Tigers’ media wing, she was initially reported by the Sri Lankan government to have died in combat. However, later footage broadcast by Channel 4 appeared to show her alive in Sri Lankan military custody shortly before her death.
The real issue isn’t that she was killed during the war, it’s that evidence suggests she had been captured alive and subsequently abused and executed.

Tamil women have suffered extensively from Sinhalese mobs and SL forces since the very foundation of Ceylon as independent state.
Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and UN investigations have all cited her case when raising concerns about possible war crimes and the treatment of detainees in May 2009.

Whether one supports or opposes the Tigers is irrelevant here. If a prisoner was captured alive and then killed in custody, that would be a serious violation of international law. It’s also important to note that Isaipriya was not a combatant for the Tamil Tigers and solely worked for the media wing of the de facto state. She was also an artist, a wife and the mother of a infant child that was also killed during the final phase of the war.

Isaipriya’s story is horrible and an act of pure evil but it was not an isolated incident, hundreds if thousands of Tamil women have endured this type of violence wether combatant or civilian.

Isaipriya is survived by her mother and sisters who have found asylum in the United Kingdom.

“We’re saving Tamils from the LTTE”…

And you call it victory day. How can any Tamil watch this and not get filled with rage, wether you are with the Tigers or not doesn’t matter, these were people and the Sinhalese killed them with impunity and no thought, the artillery men, the pilots, the soldiers, the ones who commanded this are living normal lives while the victims never got justice

And yet they’re calling my people terrorists…

“(Sri Lanka) is not a happy, united country. Yes, they have beaten the Tamil Tigers this time, but the Sinhalese who are less capable are putting down a minority of Jaffna Tamils who are more capable. They were squeezing them out. That's why the Tamils rebelled.”
