How do you feel?
2.5 year Charter employee here. I'm just curious to see how ya'll are feeling about the upcoming merger. I saw an email stating that the "Day 1" for Cox employees coming over is next week on the 20th and that services would be officially rebranded under Spectrum come mid September. There have also been significant management changes per region and there's definitely motion in place to integrate Cox's service areas with ours that we've seen (keeping details out in case big brother has got eyes in here). I've also have been hearing of some layoffs in the Carolinas and one of our departments that oversees overall transport now being scattered across other departments or walking away with a small severance and in the meantime, that department is now supposedly going to be contracted out. I'm sure a lot of ya'll aren't feeling happy go lucky about it and neither are a number of us if they decide to pick and choose who to keep and integrate based on seniority or what have you. Personally, I want to see it as job security with how much we're taking on and vice versa for ya'll comin over but anything is possible. What are your thoughts?
