Hey guys! I’ll be moving to Macao soon and in my country, I like to hand roll my cigarettes with tobacco (i swear it’s just tobacco). Does anyone know if it’s common as well? Should I bring it with me in my luggage - or is it frowned upon?
Hi everyone! I’m moving to China in three months, and from what I’ve heard from people who are already there, Chinese people tend not to be very extroverted. Do any of you have tips on how to socialize more effectively in this context?
For some background: I’m a (F) 24-yo Brazilian traveling abroad to study. I’ve done my research, and the university I’ll be attending has fewer than 10 international students in total. Back home, I’m extremely social—very outgoing and generally good at reading people. Most of my close friends are actually introverts whom I’ve grown close to, and we’ve been friends for many and many years.
