Do you use your e-drums for band practice?

I'm getting back into drums. I got a Yamaha dtx8pro. I used to play in a band with regular gigs and rehearsals. I am very familiar with drum maintenance however not too familiar with eDrum maintenance.

How regularly do you play a similar e-kit? How often do you have to replace parts and what parts are you replacing?

Is a kit like this reliable on stage or even on tour?

hit and run, what to expect from geico? California.

i also put this in /legal but this seems to be turning into more of an insurance issue.

Cino, California. i was rear ended at a stoplight on july 1st at an intersection. the person who it me ran. the intersection has cameras, the officer showed me the incident on his phone.
i dont have collision with geico, but i do have uninsured driver up to 30k. i dont know the current status of the case. i dont have a plate number but the other person involved does, and it was reported to the officer, i was given a case number.

i submitted pictures and the case number to geico. i talked to an agent after getting through their AI operator, and she seemed very dismissive with me. basically telling me theres not much else geico can do.

really? how about follow up with the police to see who the other drivers insurance is (assuming they probably dont have any if they fled) and follow through with uninsured driver?

is there something else i need to submit or consider? what should i expect from geico and what can i do to help expedite this process? is there really 'nothing' they can do?

the claim is now labeled as "parked car parking" despite selecting "hit and run" which seems odd to me considering i was at a stoplight.

the police report is not ready. do i wait for the report and continue to update geico?

EDIT: im getting confused on the difference between Uninsured motorist BODILY INJURY with a limit of 30,000/60,000 and uninsured motorist PROPERTY DAMAGE, i only have injury.
thank you for helping me clear that up.

California CNA Renewal IST and CEU help

im so confused on what this state requires for renewal.
in Colorado you send the state $40 and you're good for 2 years.

California dose not seem clear at all with their requirements.
my coworker just told me she has to take a weekend for classes that cost her $300.

$300 to renew CNA? huh?

the website states:

  • Submit documentation (CDPH 283A)(PDF) to show you completed 48 hours of In-Service Training/Continuing Education Units (CEUs) during your 2-year certification period.
  • Complete at least 12 In-Service Training/Continuing Education Units (CEUs) hours per year.
  • Use up to 24 hours from a CDPH-approved online program.

what does this actually mean?

i haven't done any "training" that im aware of.
what the difference between 12 hour IST and the 48 hour requirement?
"only" 24 hours of online courses? do i need to take classes somewhere?

CEUFast - Help offers 48 hours for $20, does all of that count or do i still need 24 hours of "non online" classes or other?
i dont have any hours form last year, if i complete 48 hours next month and renew in july, do all 48 hours count for two years/renewal?

i work for the state and they have medical IST, would that count towards renewal?

CNA for 5 years lol, the first time im renewing in California.
