Biomed(BBiomedSC) or Science(BSC) or (BEd&BSc)?

Hello all, I’m a F6 student in HK who is deciding what to study in uni. I’m considering the following choices:
Biomed, Science and Education, Science

I know that the career prospect of Biomed is rather limited and it is very competitive, and I’m still not sure if I want to do research, but I enjoying learning Bioinformatics and Human Biology.

If I really want to work in a science field, will Science offer me a slightly broader range of career options? I’ve also considered being a teacher, so should I choose BEd&BSc now, or go for PGDE later?

I’d really appreciate your help. Thank you in advance!

Biomed in HK?

Hello all, I’m a F6 student in HK who is choosing a uni program. I’m considering whether I should study Biomedical Sciences.

Even though I love biology, many say that the job opportunities are quite limited.
I’m not sure if I want to do research in the future, and I’m open to exploring other paths like biotech, clinical trials, or health-tech. But I have also considered being a teacher.
Could any current students or graduates share what career options actually look like in the lab? Also, if it’s possible for me to be a Biology teacher after studying Biomed?

I’d really appreciate any advice—thanks in advance!

Should I really choose Biomed?

Hello all, I’m a F6 student in HK who is choosing a uni program. I’m considering Biomedical Sciences in CUHK or HKU.

Even though I love biology, many say that there are very few job opportunities.
I’m not sure if I want to do research in the future, and I’m open to exploring other paths like biotech, clinical trials, or health-tech. But I have also considered being a teacher.
Could any current students or graduates share what career options actually look like beyond the lab? Also, if it’s possible for me to be a teacher after studying Biomed?

I’d really appreciate any advice—thanks in advance!
