If Vijay can ask Rina to give Arjun a second chance… why can’t Radhi get the same chance in ?

I keep seeing discussions where Vijay or Arjun’s fans say things like:

“Vijay will convince Rina to give Arjun another chance”

“Arjun deserves redemption”

“Rina should understand Arjun’s perspective”

And honestly, that part makes sense in a general storytelling way — characters can grow, apologize, and get second chances.

But then I keep thinking…

Why is the same logic not applied to Radhi?

Radhi, despite all her flaws, has also:

struggled with emotional decisions

lived with guilt and fear for years

made mistakes out of insecurity, not lack of love

and constantly carried the emotional weight of Rina’s existence alone in many ways

Yet when it comes to Radhi, the conversation suddenly shifts from understanding to judgment.

Another thing that feels unfair is this idea that Vijay gets to be the “decision-maker” of Rina’s emotional choices — like he has the authority to decide:

who deserves her forgiveness

who deserves a second chance

and who should or shouldn’t be in her life

But realistically… who is Vijay to decide that Radhi should be kept away from Rina while Arjun is allowed back in?

If fairness exists in emotional storytelling, then it should apply equally.

If Arjun deserves a second chance for growth…

then Radhi also deserves space for understanding and reconciliation.

If Rina is allowed to rebuild trust with Arjun…

then she should also be allowed to rebuild, heal, and redefine her bond with Radhi — not erase it.

Because Radhi isn’t just a “past mistake” in Rina’s life.

She is the emotional core of it.

Radhi hiding the truth about rina from vijay actually makes sense

A lot of people blame Radhi for not telling Vijay the truth about Rina earlier, but honestly… if you look at Radhi’s emotional state and history carefully, her decision makes complete sense.

Radhi never truly believed she had the “right” over Rina emotionally.

Why? Because she didn’t raise her.

That guilt affects almost every decision she makes regarding Rina. Even though Radhi loves her deeply, somewhere inside she always feels like she failed as a mother already once.

And I think her biggest fear was this:

If Rina learns the truth and gets emotionally attached to Vijay, what if she leaves Radhi completely?

Radhi probably felt she wouldn’t even have the right to stop her because she wasn’t the one who raised Rina all those years.

Also, people ignore Vijay’s side in this situation too. He never strongly pushed conversations about their baby either. The silence existed from both sides.

Another thing people overlook: In almost 200 episodes, Rina barely asked about her father maybe 3 times. That itself shows where her emotional attachment really was.

And during the invitation scene, Rina didn’t even care whether her father’s name was included or not. She was completely okay with only Radhi’s name being there.

That scene honestly says everything about Rina’s priorities emotionally.

For Rina, Radhi was already her entire emotional world long before the truth came out.

So I don’t think Radhi hid the truth because she was selfish or manipulative. I think she was terrified of losing the only person she truly loved.
