I had to go back to this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/CyclingMSP/comments/1dugjhq/bird\_encounter/) two years ago to see when I last had it "visit" me, but the attack bird on Country Road C in Roseville is back. A slightly different location from what I remember, between Fairview and Lexington. It flys up, goes after the helmet, flys away.

New-ish ham; I've had my ticket for a year-and-a-half and have been trying out different modes to learn and see what I like using on a regular basis. I've tried out DMR and D-Star, and while I learned a lot (it helped getting a hotspot to understand some of my issues with local DMR repeaters), I found I didn't use it much and there's enough local FM traffic I haven't felt the desire to use those modes.

Given that, is it worth my trying AllStar or Fusion?
