9 month old cavalier that we picked up yesterday. He is very sweet, but seems beyond terrified. He slept most of the way home, and seemed to be warming up a bit in the car. But he hasn’t moved even an inch since he’s been in the house. We put him in his bed and he hasn’t moved from that spot. We have food and water out, but he hasn’t touched it. We slept on the couch last night in the living room with him but he peed his bed, and stayed in it until we woke up and found him soiled. Even when we bring him outside, he just flops to the ground and refuses to move

I’m just not sure what next steps should be. We are giving him space to come to us, but ive just never encountered a dog this anxious.
