Just some choice pics - I hadn’t realised how much this army lead to me improving. I started off dreading painting so many little guys, coming off of just a kill team or two, and I wasn’t that good with a brush either.
Now… fair to say I’m in love with this hobby.
Had him lying around for a while, and decided to just go with the flow, and to trust the process… and he turned out almost verdant, I’d say. The mossy horns and jade rings just seem fitting, I think. Base is meant to be how I imagine the Arable Heartlands to look like.
Overall, really weird colour choices in isolation, looks great in a group shot.
I decided to make a lot of details jade, and the horns a sort of mossy bone - it makes him look unusually verdant, but I weirdly think it fits pretty well? He wouldn’t be too high on Muspelzharr’s totem pole anyway. Base was me trying to represent how I think the Arable Heartlands would look like.
