>I just toured a few upscale apartments in playa vista, santa monica, and culver city area (Haven, Elegant, living at santa monica, vantage mar vista, Luella...). Most of the apartments have 6-8 weeks "free" promotions right now and are 95+ percent occupied. There were quite a few buildings with 100% occupancy that I wanted to tour, but did not have any units available.

Will I have trouble finding an apartment if I wait until July to sign? I'm reading that July is prime moving time. Of course, the leasing offices are encouraging me to sign up before I actually intend to move in.
