after seeing this, i genuinely don’t understand why her recent ballet launch didn’t have this kind of vibe or make this much of a statement. imagine if r.e.m. beauty’s ads had this level of creativity and visual direction, it would attract SO many people to the brand. i genuinely can’t believe nobody on her creative team thought to do something like this.

I’m so happy for her, i’m kinda sad she didn’t attend but i mean she said she was taking a break so i totally understand why she didn’t.

The response was so strong to the point where she actually had to delete these pictures. But then people started making accusations, but honestly this was the only time where, for lack of a better word, she kinda looked “Asian.”
I honestly think the styling is what made everything click together. The white bows and the jacket give off such a different style and I also think the flash completely blurred her eyelid, which made people accuse she got something done to them . And the eyeliner tied everything together. I remember everyone claiming she got her eyelids done, only for her to come back like three days later with the exact same eyelids she’s always had 😭.
I also don’t think it was her team’s intention to make her look like this, at least I hope not. It lowk feels more like a combination of the styling, makeup, lighting, and camera flash all coming together in a way that made her look so different.

After the new trailer of her new movie some people started saying that’s she’s playing herself, and that she would hate getting an ugly role, since she apparently loves looking always put together. Now her team posted these 2 pictures on twitter as a response and this is the best way they could’ve done it 😭
I think ariana logged in and did it herself because back then when her twitter account still existed she used to reply at the hate comments
