I recently got into dupes and... I think I'm going to stick to the originals

And just get samples of things I want to try. Recently I got samples of 5-6 LV sents. I also ordered a couple matching dupes... And while the dupes are really good, I have the same problem I have with most clones/dupes.
A bit of back story...
I started off with collection with tom ford Tuscan leather, tabbaco vanille, ombre leather and a few others, I basically got them from a "plug" for dirt cheap, then I ended up picking up some bond 9 mfk and kinda expanded from there.
I recently in the last 4 months loaded up on dupes and clones, a lot of the smell incredibly good. My issue is I notice on my skin 75 percent of them just died after a certain amount of time. I don't think I've gotten a single compliment while wearing dupes/cones which I wear interchangeable with my niche and designer stuff and will get compliments while wearing those. Ive worn my xerjoff and xerjoff ebra pura clone and legitimately only get compliments on the real deal.
Also personally I noticed that the clones tend to end up sticky or kinda sour on me especially if I sweat. The only designer I've had to do that is JPG and I think it's just because of coconut used.
Imo the clones and dupes have a super sharpness to them that I can't really get explain, but they are typically not as smooth as the whatever they are based off.
Could be placebo, but man it sure doesn't seem like it
