Why are some residents so rude to observers during an observership? I’ve noticed that some of the residents who come across as rude are immigrants (not all) themselves. The same residents are very good towards medical students. Why might that be?
I have faced this thing during my recent observership. I felt so bad about it.
I took NBME 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 31, and my scores stayed between 68–75%, with last three 70, 70, 72. Yesterday I took the Free 120 and scored 70% (I was on 3hr sleep and was hell sleepy during). I was not able to revise all systems this whole month. All these NBMEs are done this month. It feels like I’m only getting questions right by guessing. I did just 1 time neuro and HY micro. My exam is in a few days, and I’m worried I might end up performing badly on the real exam. I would really appreciate an honest expert opinion.
