Sifuna to deputise Kalonzo or Matiangi aje sasa?

If you support Kalonzo or Matiangi how do you expect Sifuna to deputise them?

Watu wa Maraga. The guy is clean but we are talking about democracy and the ability to win elections. Mnaona kama kuna mchezo hapa?

Is CFA Level I worth it for breaking into project finance?

I have ~5 years of work experience, including some consulting and a couple of unsuccessful entrepreneurial ventures. I’m now trying to break into project/infrastructure finance.

The problem is that my background seems to put me in an awkward middle ground: too experienced for internships, but not experienced in finance to get interviews for analyst roles.

I’m considering CFA Level I as a strong, standardized signal that I’m serious about making the move into finance. But 300+ hours is a massive opportunity cost. For people actually working in project finance / infrastructure / energy finance:

Would you spend those 300 hours on CFA if you were in my position?

Does CFA Level I meaningfully help with CV screening, or would those hours be better spent on modelling, networking, and finding transaction experience? Interested particularly in people who have hired for PF roles or successfully broken into the space.

Why do Kenyans love Arsenal more than Kenyan football?

https://preview.redd.it/ghwxmx74433h1.png?width=1073&format=png&auto=webp&s=e948a9b4874be299997a5cb0c84a3f6796a55149

Nothing is wrong with supporting Arsenal or Brighton

Kitu strange ni how deeply Kenyans emotionally invest in clubs from England while treating local football like an embarrassment.

The usual excuses:
“KPL is corrupt.”
“The quality is low.”
“There’s no marketing.”

But Europeans did not inherit elite football culture from heaven.

Their leagues became powerful sababu for years fans showed up, argued, suffered, bought tickets, built rivalries and attached identity to local clubs even when the football was terrible.

Meanwhile hapa mtu can explain United’s midfield problems for 45 minutes but cannot name 5 players from Kenya Premier League.

Then tunauliza why local football has no atmosphere, no money and no prestige.

Truthfully, many Africans see foreign things as automatically more valuable, more modern and more emotionally rewarding. Football is just another example.

We are emotionally developing North London and Manchester while league zetu zinasurvive on vibes

Is Dar Social Life Just Clubs, Church, and Traffic?

Starting to think Dar social life is just clubbing, church, and sitting in Bajaji traffic 😅

Surely there are people here doing hikes, fitness groups, live music … something social that doesn’t end with Amapiano at 5 AM?

Or everyone in Dar just secretly boring?
