Heart Wrenching News out of Northeast TN

This just happened this morning and is still on going. Local college cycling team got hit while on a training ride. Motorist hit 10 of them, killing at least 2 as of now. Early reports said 5 were critical. Also heard driver was detained, fwiw.
I ride a bit of the same route at them quite often, though on the back side of the mountain they were going up. This is a tiny college, so it's gonna send shockwaves through the community. I just can't wrap my head around it. We hear the stories all the time, and we know the risk. But when it happens to your local community...and they're fucking kids. I have 2 young kids myself. One can't wait to be like dad and ride his bike on the road. I'm sitting here by myself stewing on this and needed an outlet.
Edit: Milligan released the names, Haylan Engdahl and Brayden Rogers, both sophomores on the team. So probably 19 years old or so. Absolutely heartbreaking. RIP
