I wanted to increase my cardio. My dog and I do this walk almost every day, or other day.
So, a weighted vest I thought was the best way. Plus I saw these two ladies wearing it the other day…
So… ordered my vest on Amazon and it came in the mail today.
On 25 lbs came on and off we went.
Pupper got to go on a 4 mile hike with grandpa.
Then when I got home another 3 mile hike with me.
And a bit of ball playing in the field…
Then home, and dinner and birthday cookie!
This is a trail in Bay Area, California.
Part of it we can do off leash…
The other part has to be on leash.
I couldn’t find a leash that was light and worked the way I wanted it to be, so I just made my own. Oliver is not really a puller so… a heavy duty leash isn’t needed. That being said that’s 550 paracord. Two lines… so it’s plenty for a 42 lb dog.
