I applied for TU Dresden for Electrical Engineering but I'm really concerned about the life style in Dresden.

How would you describe the city for an international student (my german is B2) from the perspectives of finding side jobs? Are there enough opportunities to work part time during the semester?

Also, what are the internships opportunities in the area, and how is the social life in general? Is housing pretty hard to find just like other cities in Germany?
