Is the Messenger the new Model D?

I know it can’t have the same impact as the Minimoog, but I think the similarities around the release and development of both synths are interesting. Especially the way everyone slated them both before actually playing them.

On foot today. Green Gazelle.

Green Gazelles and those pale legs again. I need to get a tan.

Fellow Proggers, behold! My new album.

For the Progger who prefers their Prog of the mellow, synthy, “three bowls in” variety, The Last Broadcast is a concept album about a man who uncovers secrets hidden by an oppressive regime. It comes with a rather nice pdf liner note telling the whole story, in case it’s hard to follow for drummers. Your honest feedback and unabashed financial support are highly appreciated. Peace. Robbie.

I made a whole album with one Messenger.

Just one Messenger. Every sound, even the drums. Chords were a combination of duophonic mode and multitracking.
It’s a concept album with a spoken word narrative telling the story between the songs.
Style is best described as “Synth Prog”
Would love to hear your thoughts.

The Last Broadcast // full album

I make concept albums with spoken word narratives telling the story between the tracks.
Posted this on YouTube with a link to Bandcamp rather than the usual streaming release as a bit of an experiment.
Would really appreciate your thoughts.
Cheers

14 Minutes of me noodling on the Messenger.

A few easy bass patches created in real time on my Messenger.

Trackspacer correct use; channel, bus or not at all?

Question is the title so just typing this as I have to type 60 characters but yeah, does Trackspacer belong on each individual channel, on an instrument bus or will sidechaining a multiband get better results?
