How to skate backwards (beginner)

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could have some pointers on how to skate backwards and where should I focus my weight. So far all I’ve been doing is backwards swizzles and half swizzles, and I’ve been practicing 2 foot and 1 foot glide. Some problems I’ve been having is that I drag my toe picks in the ice sometimes. I heard that you’re suppose to have your weight on the ball of your foot, but does that apply to backwards in general? Or just when you do a swizzle? Does it apply to gliding backwards? Because I know when you start doing backwards 3 turns you’re suppose to lift your toes (balance on heels), so does that mean when I glide I focus my weight on my heels? And I only balance on the balls of my feet during the pumps of a swizzle? Any help is appreciated!!!

Powders under liquid?

Hello, so I’ve been using a color corrector then concealer to hide my blemishes, and I was watching a tutorial, and this artist used a color corrector then she put setting powder on top then went over it with a concealer. I was wondering if this is a good technique? Because I was always told to do all your liquids first then all your powders second (there’s like no sandwich-ing) would the corrector-powder-concealer look thick? As in cakey? Or would it just look the same? Is there a point in doing this?

I need help with crossovers (and edges)

Hey I’m a beginner adult figure skater and my instructor has started to teach me crossovers, the only problem I have is to have like “deep” edges. When I’m doing my half swizzles on the circle and I try to have a deep outside edge it’s like I’m ripping the ice? And not so much gliding is tha normal? And when I see figure skaters skating they are leaning so much into their edges. How do I lean like them without falling?
