The pouch cell in my JBL GO1 Bluetooth speaker suddenly inflated after years of complete cycling and heavy usage. So I removed it to save my speaker, and fitted an 18650 holder from AliExpress on the outside. Not even 15 minutes of tinkering, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Charging doesn't work any more now, because maybe there is no temp signal any more? I don't care, if it's drained, I just swap the cell and charge it externally. Works great and saved a good speaker. Would recommend this repair to anyone who doesn't want to buy a new one ✌️

Got an 18650 powered LED lantern from AliExpress today. This was in it 🤣 turns out, it is 455mAh, way more than expected. Off to the recycling it goes I think... at least, the lantern looks nice and brightens up our hallway at night 🥰
