Is this Rust disease?
My shrimp molted 2 weeks ago and this brown spot showed up on her back right away. The first week she was ok, just frantically zooming around the tank for a whole day that ppl on FB forums told me she wants to mate but because she was alone in the tank I should get her some mates. Then the second week she started acting strange, completely hiding, not eating at all. Yesterday I got her a couple of other shrimps and in under a minute she came out of her hiding spot, acting all normal again and gazing since then. But I noticed this patch of brown has gotten more bold. I searched some more and am now worried if it’s rust disease and if I should quarantine her and treat my water? I wish I saw it before adding the new ones 😩
