I rally want to like the new album but can't help feeling underwhelmed with new songs
I'm a massive SD fan, their songs got me through hardest times in my life (I even have a pretty big Skelly tattoo on my arm).
I know that I should give more time and listen to new songs more, but I just can't help feeling dissapointed. Objectively I know that 15 years of hype are hard to live up to, but I just expected more - particulary in lyrics department.
Don't get me wrong, music is awesome, I love the sound and I believe Born to kill mixes all of their best stuff and different styles really well, but lyrics just seem, kind of trivial?
I guess I just want to see if there is anyone that feels the same way.. Maybe I just had unrealistic expectations after years of waiting. But especially since Mike said he had like 30 songs, and had to choose 10 I kind of expected more idk.. let me know your thoughts
