NEET 2027 aspirant (Gen, Female) — Need help prioritising private MBBS colleges in Bhopal/Indore (MP). Target 480–520, budget ≤ ₹18L/year all-in. Which order should I keep?

Hi everyone, I’m a 12th (Gen, female) NEET 2027 aspirant from MP and I really need some help from seniors who are already in private medical colleges here.

My family and I have pretty much decided that I’ll take MBBS in a private college next year. My target is around 480–520 marks in NEET, but now I’m completely stuck on which colleges to put in my priority list.

We only want colleges in or near Bhopal and Indore because my brother is already in a private med college in MP in 4th year but it’s very far from our hometown and none of our family lives there. So they kind of regret sending him there and now they strictly want me in Bhopal/Indore only, not even UP.

There are like 14 private colleges in that area and all of them have different fees, cutoffs, infrastructure, hostel-mess charges, etc., which is why I’m so confused about what to keep as my top choices.

I’m from a well-to-do upper middle class family so we can afford up to around 18 lakhs per year including hostel and mess. Security money and other one time miscellaneous charges are fine so they are not an issue, it’s just the yearly fees that shouldn’t cross 18L after the first year.

If you’re a senior currently studying in any private MBBS college in Bhopal or Indore (or recently passed out), please tell me:

What priority order I should keep for a 480–520 score

• What the approximate closing cutoffs have been for General

category girls in your college this year in round 1 and 2

• What the actual total cost per year is including everything and anything about your college I should keep in mind before joining

• If there are any red flags or things you wish you knew before joining like clinical exposure, attendance, internals, hidden charges, etc.

I’ve seen names like People’s, LN, LNCT, Chirayu, Mahaveer, Amaltas and a few others online but I don’t know which ones are actually worth the fees and which are overhyped.

TL;DR:

NEET 2027, Gen female, 480–520 target, ≤₹18L/year all-in, only Bhopal/Indore private MBBS. Need priority order, Round 1–2 cutoffs, total yearly cost, and red flags for colleges like People’s, LN, LNCT, Chirayu, Mahaveer, Amaltas, etc.

3rd Year MBBS Subjects in India: Are ENT and Ophthalmology Now Included?

Hey guys,

I’m a 3rd year MBBS student from a private medical college in Madhya Pradesh.

As far as I knew, 3rd year MBBS had only Community Medicine and Forensic Medicine.

Recently, I’ve been hearing from a few people that Otorhinolaryngology and Ophthalmology might have been shifted from final year to 3rd year under the new NMC curriculum, but I’m not sure if that’s actually true.

Can anyone confirm whether this has really happened? If yes, does that mean 3rd year now has four subjects instead of just two? And is this applicable in Madhya Pradesh as well?

Would appreciate any clarification from someone who knows the current syllabus.
