How does the Vstrom 800 stack up?
Howdy! I had a 2014 Vstrom 650 with a full touring set up and loved it, only complaint was it lacked power at highway speeds with a passenger, so I ended up parting with it. However, lately I’ve been looking at the 1000/1050 as my next bike, but the prices are quite high on them. So here comes the 800 with the “RE” left over stock in green going for close to what a used 1000 is around me. So I ask, is the 800 really as hot and vibey as I’ve heard? Or is it overblown because the DE is compared to bikes like the T7 and transalp which are arguably similar but cheaper.
My last bike was a 2012 super tenere, and it didn’t vibrate at all for a parallel twin. So I have a little hope
