I am concerned about deleted accounts after posting their severe insomnia

I search search and search about people with similar symptoms of severe insomnia and most of them have delete their account and never posted again after seeking help in here. I am trying to find successful stories but I only find less than 0.01% of people that recovered after a prolonged time with severe hardcore insomnia. Where medication do not even work. Wondering if they’re still alive. I mean if you recovered why wouldn’t post you success and just delete your account ? Weird and made me feel bad and a bit negative

Is it a bad sign and loss of hope?

Long story short, had a reaction to a BC for endo and ended up with sever insomnia, even more than sever cannot describe how bad… sleep depravation symptoms were horrific started with sleep mantaiment waking up every h the after stopping it loss of sleep drive, slept 2 days in one week dont feel tired just exhausted, tried clonadine, belsomra dyvigo, melatonin and at the end to out me out of misery my Gp gave me short term zolpidem such as worked, went to a sleep physician my sleep study is normal of course I don’t have a sleep disorder just something happened with that pill, they send me to cbt-i and told me is stress, I am so piss the physician basically treated me like a drug addicted and told me no med will solve my issue and I will basically let to suffer if cbt I won’t work. I am glad my Gp gave me some relief with that medication I took it for 6 weeks and now I am tapering off myself because no one give me any guidance and don’t know what to do, I am very concerned about th loss of sleep drive ! The medication that is ending! The facto the lighter medication Dien no help and the fact that I will go back to be sleep deprived is cbt I won’t work and let suffer like hell, I am based in Australia and seems this will be my destiny basically, the sleep physician was so rude i cant believe it, I am only 37 I don’t know what to do , I know I got damaged by the pill and my issue is organic and not psychological, what do are my options? What do you think of the situation?

I don’t feel tired at all. How this is even possible! No reasons behind it I know the pill did something in my brain, my body is burning inside. Please tell me there is hope of any of you recovered and regain their natural sleep drive. Please I need hope. Bee to Gp and physician did a sleep study at home nothing showed of course I knew this is something defective in my brain 🧠. My doc wants me to switch from Zolpidem for Dayvigo

Been experiencing extreme insomnia due to a pill reaction , dont have sleep drive anymore. Been on zolpidem 3 weeks and half and now my doctor watch to switch to dayvigo just overnight . Sometimes I feel they don’t know much about this condition and there is no a specific protocol or procedure and I am scared to do anything at this stage. From your experience would you switch like that or taper off ?

Why? Just why ?

I don’t understand why in the middle of a beautiful life one day my brain decided not to sleep anymore, and all because of a Bc pill to manage endo. It is just horrible and I don’t understand how people living on 0 sleep or 2 h can function and keep going with their life. Well unfortunately is not the case for me. I have muscle pain all my body burn feel drunk all my body is living in adrenaline and still can find a solution to fix this. I tried and pushed my self not to try med but I was so sleep deprived that I was close to allucinating till I was prescribed Zolpidem. Now, they told me to do CBTI but is it ever going to work as my problem is more physiological rather than psychological. Zolpidem is helping but I feel like my life right now is like living on a ticking bomb, what if will not work ? What if cbti is costing me a fortune and not work!? What if I cannot work and end up homeless and still not sleep? So many question marks ⁉️ i feel like this of mine is a disease inflammation in the brain and it wont be an easy fix , my case is not even manageable because the pain i experience when not sleeping is something next lever that when I see people keep going to work and be fine i am envious. My body cannot handle it , the shake pain, burn hot cold an so is something I human being should not experience is rhe worst torture, how do you keep going how? I know how medication are horrible to so had no option to have some relief , what is going to happen next? I already did lot of damage being so sleep deprived i thibk my brain is broken, how do you do it? How can you work and proceed with your life? I guess my case is rare because I literally cannot function with little sleep also experiencing severe body pain and is not fair for any good human being living like this ….

Sleep depravation vs med

I need some advise from someone that has an episode of really severe insomnia,
Mine started 3 months ago after starting Bc and before was waking up every h, feeling exhausted all day every day , stopped the pill 3 weeks ago , cannot sleep at all now for couple of days my body is cold then hot I don’t feel muscles and Thai god I don’t have anxiety because the pill took everything from me including emotions and sleep. I am suffering like a dog tried clodine that is not working , tamazapan is disgusting and the day after I am even worst, my body is running on adrenaline and I don’t know what else to do, will this eventually get better at least felling asleep and sleep few hours instead of not sleeping at all and then crash, sleep med scars me but I am running out of options, I only hoped that would end eventually and get better with time, can it go worst than this? Or just stay like this? I feel terrible don’t know what to do, been to the doctor 5 times already for melatonin , clodine and tamazapan I don’t know what will happen If I even improve naturally and this acute episodes eventually settle?

Need advise

Help I am so scared, insomnia after BC

Hi everyone, just need your help of someone experiencing insomnia so I don’t feel left alone in all of this.
5 weeks after I started a birth control pill to manage my endometriosis I started to experience the worst, I was waking up every hour , I could feel asleep fine this just keep waking up, and feeling exhausted very day this has been going for 2 months, gp just gave me melatonin that didn’t work , times passes and I decided to stop the pill thinking it must me it that triggered it. Now I am 2 and half weeks off it and this for worst. I am unable to sleep completely, I don’t even have crashes or I sleep l 2 h but compare to before I am not even able to feel asleep at all, I tried some Restavit but worked only for one day, gp gave me clodine and worked the first night I was able to eventually sleep 4 hours, rhen last night again couldn’t fell asleep even with clodine and rhen I took one tablet of tamazapan and eventually had to take a second one to only sleeo 3.5 h. I am so scared I don’t know what is happening and why I lost the ability to sleep, my brain is frayed, how long can I go like this , I am gonna eventuate have an heat attak or something? I don’t want to take more medication are scary I don’t want to be dependant.

That are you stories jow did you insomnia started and how are managing or fixed?

Please need to know how a human being can survive with no sleep or 2 h.

I am so scared

Insomnia while on BC Slinda, help!

Hi everyone, I really need some reassurance or advice from anyone who has gone through something similar. I feel completely exhausted and desperate.
I was on the progestogen-only birth control pill Slinda for 2 months. Around week 5, I suddenly developed severe sleep-maintenance insomnia (I could not stay asleep). I stayed on the pill for the remaining weeks hoping the side effect would fade, but the broken sleep continued every single night. Because of this, I decided to stop taking it after a total of 3 months on it.
I have now been off Slinda for 1.5 weeks, but the insomnia is still completely here. I had a normal withdrawal bleed immediately after stopping, but no bleeding since. I don't have anxiety or any other side effect, so this feels purely biochemical. I am waking up constantly and haven't had a good night's sleep in 2 months. I feel like my body and brain are running on empty.
Anyone experiencing the same issue? Is my sleep going to come back to normal? gp proposed me low dose of antidepressants to help sleep as I cannot go without sleeping any longer. I have a naturopath booked next week to help me rebalance my hormones, does it sound like a good plan? Please Help!
