if you were camping and only had 5 days to go from chamonix to courmayer would you go the french or swiss side? which has better views

I’m planning to do some of tdmb at the end of August. What warmth of sleeping bag is the lightest I could get away with ? And what sort of warm clothing do I need to bring.

hi, im planning to do half of tdmb anticlockwise (chamonix to courmayer) starting 22nd/23rd of august, were planning to camp so wont need to stay in huts but will this be to busy with UTMB ?

also getting the bus into chamomix to start the route i know there is a bus to les houches but is there any bus to go slightly further east to extend the route ?
