Thoughts on Skilled Trades College of Canada?

One of my foremen told me he went to that college, and he got his career started there. The guy there told me that he can't guarantee me an apprenticeship in the future, but from what he's seen, that the top third of students tend to find apprenticeships pretty easily.

My parents have put a really nice amount of money in my RESP.

Ik the price is absurd, but this might be my only door if co-op doesn't work out

is a 400 Km Ev good enough for the trades?

Look there's a dilemma in the trades. You'll drive a lot, which means you will consume a lot of fuel and spend a lot on transport. This is where driving an EV comes in. While you are also expected to drive extremely long distances, which EVs suck at.

My city has a ULO program, which supplies me dirt-cheap electricity provided I am charging at night.

I think you guys already know I'm a co-op student, which means I'm not expected to drive 100 KM back and forth.

At most, I spend about 2 hours driving on streets instead of the highways, which only gets me about 60 KM per day. The EV I'm driving can handle this with absolute ease.

Perhaps I should get a beater and only take it out on extremely long trips.

Should I ask my unpaid HS co-op supervisor for an apprenticeship job in a month?

Look guys, I am going to get my OYAP hours and going to eventually sign my RTA for my co-op with a large electrical company.

Apparently, the co-op students who did manage to find employment at the company got offered a job, and they didn't ask for it.

So I was wondering, should I ask? Or should I just pray that they approach me and ask?

Finally going to be registered as an apprentice, but I'm not sure I'll be hired.

I did post a thread on how my co-op supervisor ghosted me and my teacher on hours, but my teacher emailed me today talking about how I need to bring my SIN number to sign a RTA. I'm assuming she explained things very well to him.

Look, I'm not sure I'll be hired, but this is a step in the right direction. I'll be a registered apprentice soon.

So I'm currently a oyap grade 12 co-op student for this electrical company, and they're quite big. I'm recently pretty frustrated that my supervisor is refusing to sign a RTA and register me as an apprentice and give me my hours. He didn't outright say no, but just ghosted both me and my co-op teacher. I've already reached the conclusion that there is a 0% chance that I'll ever work for them as an apprentice.

What's next for me?
