Scotland help

I’ll be in Glencoe next Spring and I’m wondering if the Jacobite train is worth the cost and time? My other option is to ride the Glencoe chairlift up and then maybe do some hiking and other activities around the area instead.

Also open to any other suggestions for the trip. My whole itinerary for the trip will have is going to Nottingham, York, Edinburgh, Glencoe area, Isle of Skye, and Inverness/Loch Ness area.

Hiking Outfits

I am going to the Isle of Skye (yay!) so I am going to be hiking a lot but also taking lots of pictures and I want to look cute. To my understanding, leggings might be too fitted at the bottom to work for soft naturals as they lack balance for a lot of outfits. So what kind of hiking clothes would be best?
