Does the University/College provide student mail...so which we can use for student discounts?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently trying to decide between two options for my undergrad and could really use some perspective. My ultimate goal is to go into core research pursuing an MSc and a PhD and eventually enter the industry/academia (not in a rush to make money right away, but want a solid career trajectory).

I have two options on hand right now:

1. Integrated BSc-MSc Biotechnology at CSJMU (Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University), Kanpur.
2. BSc Life Sciences at DSEU (Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University), Dheerpur Campus.

Here is my dilemma:

• Academics & Research: CSJMU is a traditional state university with an established science department, but it locks me into a 5-year track (unless I use the NEP exit option). On the other hand, DSEU is very new (established around 2020) and is a "Skill" university focused on immediate placements, so I'm highly skeptical about their research infrastructure and lab quality for core life sciences.
• Environment & Safety: I currently live in Noida. I’ve heard some concerning things about the general campus environment, student politics, and safety/vibe at CSJMU Kanpur, and I'm worried it might be too distracting or stressful to study peacefully there. DSEU keeps me in the familiar Delhi-NCR zone, which means total peace of mind, but I don't want to compromise my academic foundation.

My Plan: Whichever college I take, my main focus will be maintaining a high GPA and aggressively preparing for IIT-JAM / GAT-B to jump to a premier institute (like an IIT, IISER, or top Central University) for my Master's.

Given my research goals and the vibe of these universities:

• How is the actual ground reality/environment at CSJMU Kanpur for an outsider? Is the safety/vibe concern genuine?
• Does DSEU Dheerpur even have proper functional labs for Life Sciences yet, or is it purely vocational?
• Which option would serve as a better "base camp" for cracking PG entrance exams?

My qualifications are 12th passed in 2025 gave CUET and NEET but not expecting good results
