I've been running vending machines for about two years. First two locations I found the old way, walked into a gym and a car dealership, got lucky both times. Third one took me three months of rejection before someone said yes. For the fourth I tried Vendplacer. Browsed locations in my city, filtered by foot traffic, sent a few inquiries. Had a response within 24 hours and the machine was placed two weeks later. The difference isn't even close.
Property owners on the platform are already open to the idea. You’re not convincing anyone of anything, you're just working out the details.
Still early days for the platform but the inventory has gotten a lot better.
Not affiliated, just a user who finally stopped cold calling.
think a lot of operators spend too much time cold calling random businesses when marketplaces are becoming a much faster way to find placements. Owners are already listing apartments, gyms, hotels, offices, and other locations looking for machines, which saves a ton of time compared to walking in blind.
Feels like speed matters more than ever now. The operators finding locations fastest usually win the best spots.
Finding good vending machine locations feels harder than ever lately. Curious what’s actually working for people in 2026 — cold calls, walking into businesses, apartment complexes, gyms, hotels, Facebook groups, referrals, etc. Feels like the operators who move fastest get the best spots before everyone else even hears about them. What type of locations are performing best for you right now and how are you finding them?
