FYI: Before you worry, Studio Bind is NOT among the Kadokawa 5-studio merger.

The five studios consolidating into KADOKAWA’s new Studio One Base (scheduled for November 2026) are ENGI, Chiptune, Raging Bull, Studio KADAN, and Bellnox Films.

Studio Bind is not among them and is not a KADOKAWA group subsidiary.

Unpopular opinion: I actually prefer anime Oldeus’s facial design over the light novel. He may look less cool or menacing, but the older, gaunt, frail, worn-down, and visibly tired appearance feels much more lore-accurate to how he’s described.
