I think the writers realized that people liked Dylan way more than Electra so now they're trying to make it look as though she's the bad guy now.
If you listen closely when Brooke is calling out all the things the Spencers own, you can hear that she almost said shit. Which, in context, would make sense for someone that enraged to say. I think they were given a little freedom with the script here.
