Advice needed. I’m extremely frustrated.

Ok, I got a cheap sandbag off amazon, filled it to 100 lbs and started working with it. Then filled it up to about 140ish and could row it for a set of ten. I’m 5’9” and at the time I was 257lbs. I went keto and lost 7lbs. In about a week, and I know most of that initial weight loss is water. But now I can’t even get the bag off the floor. I’m diabetic and desperately need to get the body fat off, but the strength loss from just 7 lbs is really screwing with my head. I really could use some advice.

Sand bag strength.

Just an odd observation. I just did floor presses with my bag. Didn’t get many reps (100lb bag, loosely filled). One of those things you don’t think about before you actually handle bags. I had to keep a vey open palm when pressing and my thumbs got a heck of a workout. Funny.

The room’s a mess, sorry about the background. But my cat jumped up on me, groomed herself for 30 minutes then nestled down into my hand to sleep and purr. It’s insane how much I love this little animal.
