Does Heart Rate Matter?

So I have been running for about 4 or 5 months now. Started with C25K and now run in 2.5K a few weekends a month and working up to competing in a 5K by the years end. My question is how much focus should I put on heart rate? Up until now it has been a non factor as I run until tired and then stop or adjust my pace but I see for some it is one of the main factors dictating their pacing etc. Very much appreciate any advice.

A Good Joke In A Not Good Movie

What are your favourite stand out gags or comedic moments in movies that are otherwise entirely unremarkable or ultimately forgettable. First one that always comes to mind for me is from Yogi Bear (2010) and it was featured in the trailer.

'Check the safety manual'
'It's just a picture of us screaming!'

Fitbit Vs Strava Vs Garmin

This isn't a discussion for which is better as such but more some advice would be appreciated. I have been using Fitbit for the past 3-4 years but primarily as a step counter to all intents and purposes. I have now started to get a bit more serious about my running in the last few months, competing in 2 or 3K races most weekends, working up from the back of the field to the middle as I have progressed. I am just thinking now is it worth changing to Strava or Garmin for better tracking of things like splits, heart rates etc? Opinions on pros and cons from first hand experience would be fantastic.
