"I'm comfortable in change, because change excites me," said Veronica Carlson, the Owner of Asheville Kava X Coffee. "I've been out of operation for about a month and a half now."

She says since the relocation notice, she's had to adapt.

"I can't say I was devastated. It was like a punch, but a punch to action. It's like, okay, time to shift," said Carlson.

Adult Ducks, Fledging Ducks, Ducklings, and Geese For Sale

All birds were started on organic soy/corn free feeds, and all are pasture raised together. The Geese are one African Goose (marked red) and one Pilgrim Goose (marked blue). The duck breeds I have are reliable dual purpose birds that reliably lay eggs and grow large enough for meat.

Both were started on organic soy/corn free feeds, and all are pasture raised with my other geese (Embdens and Pilgrims) and my flock of ducks, so they are all really chill. Very queit unless they spot a predator, and even then they don't go honking like crazy.

They are both about 3 months old. Since they grew up together, it's best if I can find someone that wants both, but will split them if you have other waterfowl for them to be with.

  • Geese - $75/ea., or $130 for the pair.

  • Ducklings (variety) - $10/ea.

  • Fledging Brown Mallards - $15/ea.

  • Fledging White Breasted Mallards - $15/ea.

Corporate greedmonsters REVOLVE have come for us again, this time by enlisting the help of Instagram. They've "permanently disabled" our @revolve_merc account.

I filed an appeal, but they didn't provide a timeline and didn't even provide a response. Will they ever respond? We don't know, and that's the scary part.

We worked so hard for the last 7 years to build our followers up to more than 10,700 and the idea of starting over has me feeling really sad and angry.

We are one store, tucked in a tiny mountain town of ~100,000 people. Why they feel the need to harm our business simply because we share a name is beyond me.

Helene hurt us bad. This will also hurt us hard.

We're marinating on all of it right now, and will keep you informed along the way. Most importantly, we just don't want to lose you. So please please help us by tagging people who like us and sharing so that as many of our friends as possible see this.

We aren't leaving. Corporate bullies are a cancer to society. Please remember this experience before opting to shop online -- corporations don't care about people, nor do they care about communities.

We're a grassroots shop for the people.
