Hey all!

I’m looking to start the most basic bitch grow ever for some Ochras.

I am using a 5lb AIO bag and LC syringe.

No plans to use any other stuff like tubs or shoeboxes or tents or anything, at least for this grow.

I have grown gourmet mushrooms in AIO bags before using LC, like 2 times, so I’m not 100% new, but rather inexperienced, still.

I do have one basic question, though:

How long will it likely take from inoculation to fruiting/harvest?

What is the general range of timelines?

I know it varies quite a bit sometimes, and is always dependent on genetics and conditions, and all we can do is estimate, but what is your experience, generally, for a timeframe?

I plan to inoculate tomorrow, and am hoping to have fruit to harvest by the middle or end of September, if possible.

Is this realistic?

To be clear, I’m not in a super hurry, generally,
but I am needing to move probably in October, and don’t want to be screwing around with this stuff during the move.

4/17/26 CVille - This is my favorite show. Just an unbelievable night. Played through the set break. Sorrow and Me, And Am I Born to Die? Banjo mini set, a 19 minute Creek, So Many Miles, I Only Exist, Slew Foot, Reuben’s Train, Richard Petty and the boys around the can! Tastes vary, but this is a candidate for best show of all time, IMO. Just an all-timer of all timers. 🔥 🤯

4/18/26 CVille - Infamous for “the incident” 😬 But don’t let that overshadow how SICK and LOCKED tf in this show was. That H&S>Train, Train>H&S was an exclamation point on a show of absolute power and heat all the way through.

7/14/26 Roanoke - Started the show with an 18 minute T&T. TWO FTP, (Burn the Other End, 1 Cover), and THREE second time plays (Broken Doe, Nighthawk, Just a Rambler) Larry Keel sit in was monstrous, and 18 minute barn burner of a Ride Me High was a peak. Second set from Fire Line all the way through Reuben’s Train was unreal. Reuben’s train was just uproarious. Welcome back, boys.

7/17/26 Portsmouth - So many highlights. Great 7 Weeks>Doin My Time opener, H&S was NUTS, Mire was superb, got to hear Jarrod AND Royal sing, STP of Night Fishing, Heartbeat of America absolutely ripped, as did Malfunction Junction>Black Clouds, and just a personal note, this show got a My Alice which I like more than most, and REALLY wanted.

7/18/26 Portsmouth - I’m still processing this fucking masterpiece. Holy SHIT was this a hot show! The first set was all gas no brakes. Slow Train>Taking Water had us absolutely cooking immediately, then Maggie AND Train 45>Ruby?!Come ON! 😂 🥵 Gild the Lily was blissful, and a personal chase. St. James Hospital was awesome. Billy solo set including a white hot Brown’s Ferry Blues and ANOTHER And Am I Born To Die? 🤯 just an unbelievable moment and performance. Highway Hypnosis to end was fucking perfect.

Billy and the Boys blessed us BIG time. 🙏 👏 🤩

Thank you to them, and to all of you who got to go to some or all of these shows, and make them greater for your presence.

Just an observation and a prediction:

Only 2 of 8? new songs are on the new album.

Could there be ANOTHER album on the works?

I mean, obviously Billy and the boys are prolific recorders, so they always probably have something cooking.

But I’m thinking they may have something else already in the oven!

An album with:

Sorrow and Me
Just a Rambler
Night Fishing
Love Among the Tombstones
Wilted Flowers

Plus 5-10 other new tracks…

….will slap HARD!!

Maybe they surprise us with it sometime this fall?!

Anyone going to this on Saturday?

It’ll be my first Bluegrass festival/show, and I’m pretty pumped for it!

I know Junior Brown is not really a bluegrass artist, but he’s a monster guitar player and overall musician, and one of the main reasons I’m going.

Also stoked to see the Traveling McCourys!

If anyone is going and wants to connect, or has any pro tips about the town or the festival from past years, let me know!

Just curious…

Do the bands/artists get a cut from streaming on Nugs?

It doesn’t matter much to me; it’s still WELL worth the price and I’ll keep buying it no matter what.

But I’m hoping the couch tour and my daily commutes are shooting the boys a couple fractions of a penny a day.

If they do get a cut, is it a set amount? Or does each artist have a different deal?

It’ll be my first time seeing them, but I’m looking forward to it! Hope they play Ramblin’ Fever and Reuben’s Train 🚂 (But will be happy to get what we get 😎)
