Any fics that develop from 4x17-18? When Red Daughter attacked the Whitehouse as Supergirl?

Was wondering if there was anything that expanded on those scenes (either turned into a long-fic or just a short one) since Alex also didn't know Supergirl was Kara in these episodes.

Fics that reveal Kara's identity to Lena during Mercy's attack on L-Corp?

Not sure if anyone has any on hand, but I'm looking for 4x2 rewrites. Where Kara and Lena are trapped in the building with Mercy and Kara's trying to get away so she can change to Supergirl and protect the place, but Lena ends up protecting her instead till she can get away.

I kind of think that would have been an interesting way to have Kara's identity revealed to Lena. (Bonus for Eve, too)

Arranged marriage fanfic between Kara & Lex (but Kara falls in love with Lena instead)?

Anyone know of something like that off the top of their heads? (Really should look through Wattpad someday 🤣)

Looking for a fanfic

I swear I've read a fanfic where Lena (?) was pregnant and they ended up having to stay on Argo because the sun was causing distress for both Lena and the baby, but I cannot remember what the fanfic was. I know that Lena had the chance to meet Kara's mother though.

There's a chance the pregnancy part isn't even a part of the fanfic, honestly, I've been reading All In and a few other kidfics lately so I might be mixing it up with something else that is similar.

Requirements for trying to get custody/guardianship of three nieces at 22?

Location: South Carolina (kids are in Georgia).

This is a lot and I'm going to sum it up as much as possible.

I am a neutral party to the below and am not taking anyone's side, only stating what I know personally from numerous conversations. I do not know exactly what occurred that night. I'm only focused on the three kids. A seven year old and twin almost 3 year olds. At the moment I kind of think that both parents need to get their shit together before they have these kids back—and quite frankly, both need to stay away from each other because they have been physical with each other multiple times throughout their on/off relationship.

The mother and father (my brother) got into a fight and both got arrested. Father was bleeding profusely from his nose and under his eyes and my cousin who went to the house said there was blood on the floor and wall. The mother didn't have a scratch on her but has claimed that she got choked. Father claims he was trying to leave multiple times, but the mother kept grabbing his stuff every time he tried so that he couldn't leave.

They both were charged with three counts of child cruelty to the third degree (kids were in the house during fight), and the mother was already on probation for the same exact charges from earlier this year because she left the kids in the car to go into the grocery store (was originally three counts of child endangerment). My family and I are aware that the eldest niece has been taking care of the twins most of her life. This is something that got social workers involved originally a year ago, because my niece told her teachers that she feeds and changes the babies diapers and tries to get them to quiet down. Amongst other things. It was also stated directly from my niece that her mom hits her with hangers. There were incidents where the mother got high and left the twins alone in the bathtub and one baby held the other's head down and I believe she turned blue (around 1-2 years at the time). And has told my oldest niece that she is a "bad daughter" because my niece wanted to go with her dad, because she "always takes her mom's side." The mother has also already had her three other kids taken away from her as well for reasons I am unaware of. She was also already on probation for a DUI at the time of the fight with the father.

One of the kids (7 y/o) claimed "dad was choking mom under the blanket" but my family suspects that the mom may have coached the kid to say that since it took her forever to get outside to the police + they were not in a bed (niece later said it wasn't true). Social workers got involved because neither parent is allowed any contact with children. They had a guardian ad litem and then went to the person of mother's choosing. Father is not legitimized as the father because the kids were born out of wedlock.

However, he does have paternity tests for two of the kids (\~3 y; twins) stating he is the father. He is currently working on fighting a charge they gave him and wants to get legitimized and get his kids.

Both are now out on bond.

Now that that's all out of the way,

I am a twenty-two year old woman with no experience in raising children, but have baby-sat within my family and am very familiar with my nieces. I am also actively in therapy and working on myself as a person. My therapist believes that it would be hard raising the kids—but ultimately, I'd be a good "parental" figure. My seven year old niece is very close to me despite the distance since I live in South Carolina and she's in Georgia.

I love these kids with my entire heart and want only what's best for them, and right now, I feel like they need to be in a safe, stable, and secure environment with someone who will provide them everything they need. This includes sending my niece to therapy immediately, especially after this situation, because she asked me if she could tell me what happened and the way that she described everything felt so *wrong*. No child should be explaining what happened as if it were *nothing*. As if it were just an average Tuesday. It doesn't sit right with me.

Now, while I don't have much experience, I am more than willing to take a few (or a lot of) parenting classes and anything else that I would need to. As well as CPR, since I feel that's incredibly important to know if you're going to be taking care of kids. I am aware of the mental and physical toll it will take on me and am still absolutely certain that this is a route I would want to go. I'm actively in therapy and my therapist is willing to help me make a plan and I do have multiple support systems when it comes to these kids.

The problem is that I live with my mom (55) and a younger brother (18). So, I do not have a house of my own. I will say that I am getting a decent amount of money soon and it's enough for me to get a down payment on a house if I need to. But I would be a first-time homeowner.

Is there any requirements that someone would know off the top of their head to make this work?

Or any advice/opinions in general?

Anything that you think I need to hear, please tell me everything. Good or bad. I'm very willing to hear all types of feedback.

Edit:

Kids are currently with maternal grandfather under kinship care. Were originally supposed to be coming here, but got changed completely. Mother has since blocked my entire family on her Facebook page, ceased any and all ability for contact, etc.

I am now under the impression she will likely be making it where we cannot have any contact with the kids whatsoever.
