Hangout spots recommendations

Do you guys have any recommendations nga chill hangout spots here in the city or just near the city?

My shs friends and I are planning to go out this Sunday and we haven’t seen each other for months and others are for years na.

We want to eat good food and at the same time chill and just talk.
We’re really not looking for something specific, just a place where we can chill out for hours and also since it’s rainy season, ang hindi lang medyo open and where we can stay dry.

Pagod na kami sa samgyup HAHAHA

Affordable Customized Cabinet/Closet

Hi! Sin-o di may kilala or may ma-suggest nga ga-customized sang cabinet for rooms? Possibly mga 15-20k tani for 2 cabinets if possible.

I saw some products online especially sa Shopee and Lazada nga tag 5k ang full-sized cabinets. But I’m not sure about the quality.

Nag canvas man ko sa FB marketplace and so far I was quoted around 40-45k for two cabinets with same designs. I know they might have quality products pero di gid kaya sang budget.

Thank you!

Pride Iloilo in SM Southpoint

Hi, pa-rant lang ako.

Yesterday nag attend kami sang friends ko sang pride activity sa SM Southpoint and it was actually my first time since I don’t usually partake or celebrate this kind of event.

We were enjoying the program, ara kami sa 2nd floor tupong sang Sumo Niku. While naga watch kami may nag palapit na girl (middle-aged woman) and she’s giving away a pamphlet and I thought naga pang-limos siya but when I opened it, it was about religious stuffs.

I don’t mind receiving it and I smiled at her and she said she’s there to spread the word of God.
On normal days, it’s fine but I find it underhanded and daw may hidden agenda kay pirme man ko da galagaw pero wala man da sila haw pero kay Pride Month, present sila???

What triggered me the most was that, sa 2nd page sang pamphlet nakabutang “Signs of second coming” or something like that and ang sa first bullet is “Same-Sex Marriage”. I asked her, “What do you mean by this?” She said “Muna siya sir ang isa ka rason nga maabot na ang ginoo diri sa kalibutan” and I was appalled!

She added, “Ari kami di sir para mag spread kag share sang word of God” I told her nga “It’s pride month and wala gid kamo respeto?”

I don’t mind sa mga tawo nga gusto mag spread sang joys and word of God pero ipilit sa iban nga tawo ang inyo nga faith is very wrong! It was so disrespectful, gin punggan ko lang self ko mag argue siya kay I went there to celebrate and enjoy.

I’m not a religious person and I believe being respectful and kind sa isa kag isa is enough. If religion brings you joy and peace, then go ahead. But you don’t have to shove your faith to other people’s throat just because you “believe” nga sakto kamo.
