Sound not working
Has anyone else experienced this with their XC90 - specifically we have a 2025.5 XC90 Recharge.
The sound in our car completely stops working - not just the infotainment/audio, but also the turn signal clicks, backup sensor alerts, and other system sounds.
It started shortly after we bought the car, but a soft reset (holding the home button for ~30 seconds) would usually fix it. About a month ago, that stopped working altogether. We took it to the dealer for our one-year service, they did a software update, and everything worked again.
Now, just 3 weeks later, it’s happening again - unfortunately right at the start of a road trip.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Were you able to get a permanent fix? It seems pretty crazy that a brand-new, very expensive car would have an issue like this.
