Getting off the pill/HA realization?

Hi all!

I’ve been on the Nikki combination pill for 5 years now. Originally went on for acne, stayed on for the other benefits…

Not sure if I have HA but i lost a significant amount of weight on the pill in college due to a variety of reasons. I’m learning more about myself and want to gain a little weight for health!

Does anyone have experience with getting off the pill and realizing they have HA? Or the pill and HA in general? I’m really concerned about hair loss — which i hear is a really common side effect even for women who get off and are not underweight.

Any input appreciated!!

Getting off the pill after 5 years…

Hi all!

I’ve been on the Nikki combination pill for 5 years now. Originally went on for acne, stayed on for the other benefits…

Anyways, i’m thinking about getting off to see if there is a benefit to letting my hormones do their thing.

Does anyone have experience with hair loss — more specifically avoiding this after stopping the pill? I had TE once years ago when I started accutane and it completely wrecked my mental health..

My mom thinks i’m crazy for worrying about this as a potential downside to stopping the pill but the more I look up how common this is i’m kind of freaking out!!!

I guess i’m hoping there’s some women here that can attest to minimal shedding or no noticeable changes after stopping the pill. For context I don’t have PCOS or any other major condition that would otherwise cause hair loss.

Any input is appreciated, thanks 💇‍♀️💇‍♀️💇‍♀️💇‍♀️

Not so great performance review…

This is for my staff accountants out there…

I started almost a year ago as a staff and get monthly performance reviews. I’m in my early 20’s and this is my first job post grad — so already limited in my real world work experience..

We get a few of these performance evaluations every quarter or so and a common comment I keep getting is that my overall accounting knowledge is low…

How bad is this? I get overall good comments about how I show up for work everyday and my attitude.

I really do put in a lot of effort (and stress) trying to understand how accounts and balances flow together…

Am I a lost cause? Does anyone have person experience starting a little “slow” in public accounting? Anything helps :/
