Asics benefit via Bandit

Has anyone used the bandit member benefit to buy asics shoes lately? I'm trying to make a purchase right now but I keep getting an error. I wonder if the issue is that I'm logged in via shop?

Edit to clarify: I've clicked on the link via bandit, put shoes in the cart, then add the code and that's where I get the error. On the checkout page.

Transitioning type of rider question. I’ve been a decades long bike commuter and a regular citi bike rider. Meaning regular short easy rides in typical sporty clothes.

My goal for this summer is to do a weekly long ride. Like over the GWB/9W, loops of Central Park etc. I’d be aiming to build up to a few hours. With that in mind I was planning to buy a bib to be comfortable over the duration. I already own a decently nice road bike (nothing super fancy but it does the job)

Here are my questions:

  1. For a first time buyer, is it recommended to buy a bib in-store to make sure the fit is correct? I know I can order one but I’m not really sure what to look for. I thought a human with knowledge would be useful. Is that right?

  2. If this is a better purchase in-store, does anyone have recommendations for where best to go? I’d be looking for good customer service as a primary concern.

Thanks in advance for any help!
