Hey Everyone, occasionally we see people posting on here with issues about fit or construction, and while we certainly respect your right to vent, it's best if you reach out to me directly (at customerservice@russellmoccasin.com) as soon as absolutely possible so we can try to rectify the situation. If your boots or shoes don't fit, for whatever reason, let's deal with it. The chances are that if they are too big, they will remain too big, and if they are too small (with a slight exception) they will remain too small. So put them back in the box and shoot me an email. We know there was a significant gap in customer service response earlier this year, but we are busting our butts to make sure that that is no longer the case. However we can't help you if you don't let us know that you have an issue.
I will say, this one thing, and you will hear me continue to harp on it.... If you are going to order some Russells PLEASE make the effort to get sized on a brannock device, by a reputable shoe (not sneaker) store (wearing socks) and circle back to me with the size and width for both feet. If possible try to get pictures of your feet on the brannock. You can't base your size on what "custom" Russells show as their size, only those since we stopped the custom builds. Even if you are a well established client, it can't hurt to be measured, your feet will change! We really don't find any sizing issues when people have gotten on a brannock.... Almost every sizing return relates to folks using their "known size."

Hey team, this is your opportunity to ask us about anything you need to know relating to the Iron Snail collab which will be dropping soon.
Also, we would VERY much like everyone interested in getting in on this to get measured on a brannock device at a reputable shoe store. More than 40% of our first time clients end up returning their footwear to us to exchange for a different (usually smaller) size. Given that we really won't be building these after the initial production is complete, you will have to wait for the next collab if want the same boot and mis-size yourself. By getting measured on a brannock and discussing with Rob at customerservice@russellmoccasin.com we can pretty much eliminate this opportunity for failure.
NB: by "getting measured on a brannock" We don't mean guessing based on your New Balance size, what you ordered in a White's six years ago, or using the Volumental system at Red Wing..... Go get measured on a brannock (see photo below) device by someone that knows how to use one. IF you don't have access to a place to do that, you can actually purchase a brannock on Amazon and have it tomorrow. Now.... What can we tell y'all?
