is stuytown good for black mid 20s female?

i wanna move here because its close to my work, the green spaces, community vibe, and the decent room sizes but im worried i wont be able to meet people my age and socialize since it sounds like stuytown mostly has older couples and like youndger college students which arent my vibe. is east village is more college vibe? i really liked the vibe of williamsburg near the bedford stop with its working professional population but its hard find housing (tho i might have found something). but the i hear alot of black events occur around prospect park so maybe i should consider dumbo or smth. i have a place thats north west from the nostrand avenue stop but im not sure if its too quiet for my liking. thoughts?

East village, Williamsburg or boerum hill/prospect heights

Looking at places in these areas with similar price points and such. But not sure which is more my vibe, any suggestions?

I’m single 22F working in tech. I like having people my age around and I like a bustling friendly neighborhood vibe that has some greenery and cafes, active in the daytime and nightlife nearby but I don’t wanna live right next to it. I work around grand central.

East village place is further from the subway but it’s in east village (lower avenue C), nice amenities but small.

Boerum hill place is near Atlantic ave subway. Just worried I’ll be more isolated here from my friends in Williamsburg and Flatbush. I heard Lincoln street in crown heights is nice for nightlife but idk if it would match Williamsburg/manhattan.

Williamsburg places are near the Lorimer street L, and Bedford Avenue L stop.

Moving to NYC. Best neighborhoods in Manhattan/BK/Queens for two artsy 22 yr old girls that are relatively safe?

We were looking for a neighborhood:

  • Not too hectic and messy like Lower East Side (i actually love east village & greenwich village and all the cute shops and stuff but like I think for the apartments that we can afford the amenities aren't that great. idk i had a friend that lived in LES and she had like a naked homeless man collapsed on her apt front door when she was trying to go to work and i would rather avoid that kind of stuff).
  • mid range housing? (5k rent)
  • safe
  • alot of young professionals / people
  • subway access to get to like midtown in <45 minutes, being along the 4/5/6 or easy connection to those lines are a plus.
  • gym nearby is a plus

We're looking into:

  • williamsburg (i dont really like the industrial vibe tho and my friends have been catcalled alot at night)
  • LIC
  • fort greene
  • stuy town (my top)
  • hells kitchen (ok but not many subway stations tho)
  • greenpoint

thoughts?
