I remember as a kid none of us kids wanted to play with this one. Everyone wanted the cool cars and to many of us this was not one of them.
I think it’s super cool now though.
There are several variations of this boat like these two with different color drivers. I know there’s a red boat also and possibly there may be others. Either way they’re cool pieces for the lesney line up.
I had been looking for a clean example of this one for a good while. It’s very hard to find one with the sticker on the plow blade intact. I’m glad I was able to snag this one at a decent price.
Matchbox had some of the craziest fantasy cars.

The Citroën SM is a radical grand tourer produced from 1970 to 1975, marrying French aerodynamic design with Maserati V6 power. Known as a "Concorde for the road," it boasted advanced hydropneumatic self-leveling suspension, swiveling cornering headlights, and self-centering power steering.
Citroën's short-lived ownership of Maserati resulted in just 12,920 SMs ever being built. Today, they are prized collectibles combining classic comfort with exotic mechanicals. Values frequently range between $40,000 and $60,000 depending on condition and originality.
I know a lot of people don’t care for the 928 but I always liked it. I didn’t hate the 924 either but it was definitely no 911.
I had the variant without the engine and I recently picked up the one with it.

The Ford Capri was conceived in the late 1960s as Europe’s answer to the massively successful North American Ford Mustang. It was built primarily at plants in the UK, Germany, and Belgium to balance costs while offering a sporty, accessible, and highly customizable fastback design.
I have seen these in Orange but they don’t come up that often.
I waited to find a clean boxed example of this one for a long time and I was happy to finally get one.

The Ferrari 156 F1 "Sharknose" was a dominant, iconic Grand Prix racing car built by Scuderia Ferrari for the 1961 Formula 1 season. Designed by chief engineer Carlo Chiti, it gained its legendary nickname from the distinctive twin front air intake nostrils engineered to optimize radiator airflow. The car made motorsport history by securing Ferrari's first-ever F1 Constructors' Championship and carrying Phil Hill to become the first American F1 World Drivers' Champion.
I had the Blue one and just recently added the White one to my collection.
I was happily surprised to see they had different tampos. The ice cream man is a giant.
I always thought this is one of Matchbox’s uglier castings but I had to have one and especially in Peach.
The BMC 1800 Pininfarina Berlina Aerodinamica was a visionary 1967 concept car built by Pininfarina for the British Motor Corporation. Designed by Leonardo Fioravanti, it featured a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette that previewed the hatchback and fastback designs of the 1970s and 80s.
