[The Score] It's in the realm of possibility that NFL executives and owners are telling the Bears they won't approve a move to Hammond, Indiana, Mike Florio told Mully & Haugh. "That's something that they're never going to declare publicly because it blows up the leverage” Florio says.

[Dan Bernstein] Another Halas Hall clown show with zero news, and full of comical contradictions: "Move with pace" alongside no timeline and needing "patience." KW crowing about Bears "record revenue," when they have no money to put toward a stadium.

[The Score] Adam Hoge: "This Kyler Gordon situation has veered into Nate Davis territory. There were valid reasons why he wasn't on the field, and then it eventually just got to the point where everybody is a little fed up the guy's not out there. That's the vibe you get in the building."

[David Haugh] Sources indicate the Bears are expected to make an announcement Thursday regarding the stadium project, which they haven’t publicly addressed for months. A Bears rep told state and local officials across border they’ll want to hear what the team has to say, raising hopes. Again.

[Courtney Cronin] Some positive news on the Bears WR front. Zavion Thomas, who left practice Sunday during 7 on 7 with a knee injury, isn't expected to miss much time, per a source. I'm told he's dealing with soreness in his knee & is likely day-to-day in his recovery. He shouldn't be out long.

[Adam Hoge] Bears OC Press Taylor did a great job of explaining Ben Johnson’s offensive philosophy. Explosives > efficiency

“I don't think Ben has ever mentioned the word efficiency. We talk about explosive. We are trying to attack a defense. I think there's a perception of a lot of people, we're gonna run the ball, we're gonna stay efficient and control the clock. We are looking to attack the defense. We are looking to attack fronts, to expose space, to create run lanes, to create explosives and we don't look at the run game as a way to stay on track. We look at the run game as a way to attack defenses and really be explosive and continue to just put our foot on the gas the entire game.”
